Ron has never been one to follow the crowd - rather, he has always had a keen eye for the unconventional. He was born in the fine claret year of 1961, and graduated in 1985 with an honours degree in Dentistry, which he continues to practise. Ron's expertise encompasses wine education, including educating aspiring MW students, wine journalism, cellar management, photojournalism, a flamboyant corporate event presenter, and of course creating and designing cutting edge wine concepts for clients all over the globe. He has a passion for food, speaks fluent English and Greek, and travellers Italian and French. His other passions include opera, Wing Chun martial arts,Pilates and cooking. To date, the Wine Oracle has created international award winning concepts in the Maldives, Moscow,St Petersburg , Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul,Kuala Lumpur, and Sydney for Hilton / Conrad Group,the Swissotel Group, and the Orient Express group. He has worked for restaurant groups in London, Toronto and Miami. He has worked for other, high-end clients, including investment banks, law firms, and five star boutique resorts around the globe, delivering exceptional, inspirational events and concepts to the benefit of all his clients.
