MW study programme wines 2017-2018
The Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW) would like to thank all those who generously supplied wines to the 2017-18 MW study programme. The wines were shown throughout the academic year at residential seminars in Adelaide (Australia), San Francisco (USA), Rust (Austria), Bordeaux (France) and Berkshire (UK) and at over 70 course days around the world.
The seminars and course days are part of the MW study programme and were attended by students pursuing the title of Master of Wine. There were over 350 students from 40 countries in the 2017-2018 MW study programme. Students at the course days and residential seminars were guided by over 100 Masters of Wine, who led tastings, theory sessions and mock exams. The wines, listed below, were used for the tastings and mock exams to steer students’ preparation for both the stage 1 assessment and the stage 2 MW examination.
The supply of the wines ensures the IMW can continue to offer the best possible experience to students on their journey to becoming a Master of Wine.
