The distinctive and diverse varieties of McLaren Vale
RegisterDescription
This event has passed.
IMW major supporter Wine Australia is organising a webinar on the distinctive and diverse varieties of McLaren Vale.
Hear three winemakers explore some of the lesser known but hugely important grape varieties that thrive in the region in a discussion hosted by Madeleine Stenwreth MW.
While the main varieties found in the region are Australian stalwarts such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, and Chardonnay, McLaren Vale’s temperate climate and proximity to the ocean makes it perfect for grape varieties more commonly found along the Mediterranean basin.
If you are unable to attend, the discussion will be available to view on the Australian Wine CONNECT platform. It’s free to register and will allow you to catch up on all of Wine Australia’s most recent conversations post event, as well as live thought leadership sessions, tastings and variety and regional explorations to showcase the people, places and processes that make Australian wine unique.
