Lenka Sedlackova MW was born and raised in the Czech Republic but her love of languages took her to Germany and subsequently the UK, where she lives today. Lenka's interest in wine started over a decade ago at a wine tasting organised by London wine merchant Theatre of Wine, which resulted in a job. In her past role as Agency Manager for renowned UK importer Fields, Morris and Verdin (part of Berry Bros & Rudd), Lenka was responsible for brand management and commercial strategy for some of FMV's most prestigious agencies from regions as varied as Burgundy, Champagne, Spain, USA and Greece. Lenka recently joined UK importer Bancroft Wines as Senior Brand Manager looking after the company's best producers, and is also responsible for sourcing wines from emerging countries like Greece.
