Masters of Wine feature in Climate Talks

Wendy Cameron MW, Jeremy Cukierman MW, Nicolas Quillé MW and Melissa Saunders MW have featured as hosts and guests at Climate Talks, conversations about wine in a changing climate organised by the Porto Protocol Foundation.
Nicolas Quillé MW, COO and chief winemaker at Crimson Wine Group was a speaker at the Climate Talk on the topic ‘When climate action meets efficiency along the wine operation‘ in January, sharing his experience in building efficiency and climate resilience in supply chain management. Melissa Saunders MW was a guest on the discussion ‘The Wine Bottle of the Future is reusable‘ where she spoke about her experience and challenges both as the owner of Communal Brands and wine director of the Good Goods, in a conversation that explored different wine reusable schemes worldwide.
In April’s upcoming talks, two other Masters of Wine will be participating in different panels – on 21 April, Jeremy Cukierman MW, the co-author of the book Quel vin pour demain? Le vin face aux défis climatiques, will share his views on the role of influencers in driving climate action in the industry; and on 28 April, Wendy Cameron MW will host a Climate Talk on Climate Smart Wineries.
